Come see “Good Company”, the Worlds #1 Premiere tribute to the legendary Paul “The Voice” Rodgers of Bad Company, Free, The Firm, and Queen perform their 60 minute power packed show featuring all the greatest hits from Paul Rodgers of “Bad Company”s extraordinary career from the early 1970s to current modern day. Since 2018, Tribute band, “Good Company” has wowed and amazed large audiences all over Southern California and abroad with their authentic and detailed renditions of songs such as “Alright Now”, “Feel Like Makin Love”, “Shooting Star”, Can’t Get Enough”, and “Bad Company” just to name a few.
What to expect:
A powerful and thorough re-creation of a Bad Company concert. The band members are all in character with each player well studied in British accents, accurate costuming, and note for note re-creations of the studio recordings, combined with actual live concert endings and segues. You’ll feel like you’re at an actual Bad Company concert. Come on out and help keep this beautiful music alive.
The line up will include multi-instrumentalist, Paul Rodgers impersonator, singer songwriter, local native San Diego rocker “Al Reed”, a 45 year music veteran and former Reno NV. Regional “The Voice” contestant ( 11th runner up in a field of 500 ). He will be belting out that rich, soulful, Paul Rodgers tonality that fans hunger for in their music!
On keyboards and backing vocals is the popular and well loved, “Eric Monroe” who was the founder of the popular smash hit 80’s band,“The Monroes” who had a huge hit single, “What do All The People Know”. Eric can currently be seen in several tribute bands in the San Diego area.
Then, there’s Perfectionist, Bassist, backup vocalist, founding member,”Johnny Rhinestone”, playing the part of the late “Boz” Burrell. Mr Rhinestone had great success in the 80’s with his original band,”Erth”, who released an epic album and currently can be seen locally playing with various top working cover and tribute bands.
Also included, Astute, Guitarist, Backup Vocalist, ”Eric Schink”. He will draw you in with his exact note for note mimickry of Mick Ralphs bluesy, passionate guitar style. The style that gave Bad Company its “Hard, Edgy” sound that only comes from a Gibson Les Paul. Eric is also a musician who can be seen in other tribute bands locally.
And next, the “Heartbeat”, the drummer, local legend of “Rockaholics fame, “Mic Backman”, the heartbeat of the band. Fortunately for the band, Mic is an avid and knowledgeable fan of Bad Co/Free and its drummer, “Simon Kirke”. He will amaze you at how well studied he is on every song. His dedication to his craft is very apparent to listeners and they cant help but feel like they are in a time machine blasting straight back to the 70’s
Rounding out the show are The “Good Girls”, Backup singers, Ivonne Vilches and Andi McKay from the local working cover band, “Nightshift” and Linda Rondstadt tribute Band “Love is a Rose”.
